
CALL FOR PAPERS!
The TM-Europe 2010 International Translation Management Conference will take place on 30 September and 1 October, 2010, in Kraków, Poland.
The pre-conference workshops are scheduled for 29 September 2010 and the Translation Technology Showcase is scheduled for the afternoon parallel session on 30 September.
Please save the date and submit proposals for presentations, panels and workshops for TM-Europe 2010 by May 7, 2010.
This conference builds on the success of the previous TM-Europe conferences. The TM-Europe conferences bring together and address the needs of translation and localisation service providers, their customers, as well as translation vendors, technology providers and academics traditionally focusing on management issues for the translation and localisation industry. The theme of TM-Europe 2008 was customers, vendors and process management from the global and the local perspective. The theme of TM-Europe 2009 was quality and terminology management. In 2010 the emphasis is on project management, technology and tools, business models and process optimisation.
The final “Warsaw Pact” debate of TM-Europe 2010, which is webcast, will feature a panel composed of technology providers and their customers discussing the pros and cons of their mutual relationship. The focus will be on innovations, benchmarks, value of the existing business propositions, how can tool providers deliver greater value to their customers, as well as functionalities wish lists, standards, and project management and quality assurance requirements, and all other aspects of the tool provider and customer relationship.

The TM-Europe conferences bring together professionals from the translation, localization and related sectors. The attendees are interested in learning about global and local industry trends, business models and technologies as well as knowledge and tips on how to optimize, innovate and deliver global content faster and more efficiently. The conference is particularly popular among translation and localization managers, translation customers, project managers, quality managers, sales and marketing managers, translation and localization specialists, content and technology developers, translators, researchers, consultants, trainers, academics, and students.
Proposal Submission

Each proposal will be reviewed by the organizers and the TM-Europe 2010 Programme Committee, and you will be notified in June 2010 about the status of your submission.
Deadline
The final date for submissions is May 7th (Monday ) 2010 and all presentations should be submitted using the official form.
